So the floor is finally DONE! No more patches to do, and all the welds have been covered with Duraglass and sanded smooth. New seam sealer was also applied.? Since the whole floor was treated with Picklex-20, I scuffed it before spraying with red oxide Zero-Rust to ensure good adhesion. I also discovered that a quart wasn’t quite enough! I ran short before covering the passenger side rear wheel well. More Zero-Rust has been ordered. Since I’ll have more than I need this time, I will scuff some areas that I have already sprayed and give it some more. Some areas are a bit thin, so sure doesn’t hurt to give it another coat.
