We decided to install the original differential that came from the car. It was in excellent condition. 3.36 gears should be good for highway driving, but not too bad for city driving either… a good compromise, and with gas prices the way they are… this is the way to go. My brother marty checked it out and adjusted everything so it is good to go. It is painted with red-oxide Zero Rust, the same stuff that we used on the bottom of the floor pans. They were painted red-oxide primer from the factory, but this is a debated subject among experts… I suppose it matters too, what factory it came from. But, I think it looks good… ads some contrast, so red-oxide it is!
