Using some beige seam sealer from Napa, I sealed up all the seams in the trunk and made it look pretty close to how it did when it left the factory. I sealed inside the weatherstrip channel for the trunk lid as well, since there is a pinch-weld in this area that could hold moisture. The gray primer you see in the picture is Evercoat Featherfill G2… a high-build primer. This will allow me to fill the surface-rust pitting to the metal, since this area is near the edge of the trunk floor mat, I didn’t want it to look ugly in case it shows. The other side where it has brown primer was already prepped with Featherfill a while back and got shot with brown epoxy primer again before I applied the fresh seam sealer.
